There are many good schools on Utila. I cannot speak to any first hand
since I learned to dive on Roatan. I have heard good things about the
Utila Dive Centre (www.utiladivecentre.com) but, again, there are other very
good ones as well.

I am arriving in country for the first time Dec 17.
So it sounds like the best way to get from SPS to
Utila is by plane? I had planned to bus to La Ceiba
and take the boat. I am not in any particular hurry,
but would like to avoid 13 hrs of bus.
I have been warned about the airport in La Ceiba. Is
this really such a worry?
I am open to suggestions for scuba schools on Utila
and then ideas for places to check out. I will have
another week or so to bum around
