On your way to or from the islands, don't miss La Ceiba. We have the incredible kayaking and river rafting (class three to five) on the Rio Cangrejal; the Cuero y Saldo lagoon reserve with large troops of monkeys that come down near the boats; the Boca Vieja beaches with soaring Polynesian like mountains behind them and miles and miles of white sand with only a few scattered fishermen; many cascading waterfalls and clear water river pools in the cloud forests; a lively night life in the Zona Viva of the city; and more.

Hi,
I will be coming to Honduras from Dec 18 until the 31.
This is my first trip so any suggestions will be more
than welcome.
I am thinking that I will go to the islands first to
become scuba certified and then maybe to Copas. Any
other suggestins of things to not miss? I will be
travelling alone so I would love to meet up with some
other travellers or locals along the way.
