Hi everybody,
We have built a house here in Tela and finaly get to spent some more
time in the country. A couple years back we bought some nice wooden
pieces of furniture in a small store in La Ceiba, probably on Ave. San
Isodoro or Ave 14 de in the Julio. The store had mostly one kind of
furniture that is darkly stained, craved with a floral pattern on the
front and black metal pulls on the drawers. Does anybody know whether
the store is still around? On a visit in March I was not able to find
it. I am mostly interested in finding something other than the red
furniture oil to take care of the wood. I think they recommended a
wax. Any ideas out there?
