I had the pleasure of having Thanksgiving dinner at the Hotel Sula in San Pedro Sula last year. The hotel was an independent but is now part of the Best Western franchise. It's downtown across the street from the main square and the palacio municipal (city hall). I was surprised at the number of people who celebrated Thanksgiving since it's not a Honduran holiday. We had a very nice buffet dinner for eight people with turkey, ham and all the accessories. As for the weather, I believe November is one of the better months weather wise. Although you can expect rain any time any place in Honduras, it shouldn't be a problem during that time of year. I expect to be in SPS this Thanksgiving but don't know what our plans for the day are yet.
Please share your experience with the Travel to Honduras group.
Best wishes for a good trip.
