We've traveled around the Honduras mainland with no worries, but have
not driven ourselves, although we expect to next year. We like taking
the bus. We take the local busses; we prefer the casual, sometimes
crowded atmosphere and the open windows. Others prefer the express
busses such as Hedman Alas. Taxis in La Ceiba are cheap.
