Personally I wouldn't travel anywhere with a passport that is set to expire in less than 6 months. And even so I would check first with my destination's embassy to make sure it was enough time. The general reason for this is that usually countries will want you to have your passport with enough time in it so that once you are in the country you could ask for an extension of stay and your passport still be valid after the extension period.
