In a week my family and I are off to live in SPS where I will be
working for a small NGO. The visa I got in DC says "resident". What
privilages does this give me? Can I open a personal bank? Buy
property? Qualify for citizenship eventually?
We plan to be there at least 5 years. Is there a way to keep up the
residency once we return to the states?
