As far as roaming, T-Mobile shows Megatel as providing roaming service.
However...just because the website shows it, it doesn't mean it works! I
can tell you that I put a SIM card from Megatel into my unlocked phone and
had no problems. You can buy these in Roatan and in other locations. The
coverage in Roatan as of last November was very good in West Bay, West End,
and Coxen Hole. You can change the voice prompts to English. They are "pay
as you go." Roaming is another matter. Megatel does have a coverage map on
their site.

How, and where do you get a cell phone for Honduras?
New Zealand's two providers don't support Honduras
roaming, and neither do the American AT&T, Cingular
Wireless, Nextel, Sprint PCS, Verizone Wireless, and
VoiceStream.
So all American's on this e-group must have this
problem too.
