Hi, you will have a great time! The rum and coke is no problem, you can get that anywhere. The "noseeums" can be a major problem, I found that Avon skin so soft helped the most. If you put a blanket or sheet down on the sand I would suggest spraying it with skin so soft or some kind of bug protection first. Spray the side you are going to put down on the sand, then spray yourself. You don't feel them, just later look like you have the measles or something. I rented a jeep and drove all over the island (very small island) and no problems at all. Have fun.
