Hi Charlie..my vote is for the Caribbean waves on the north shore down pass Sambo Creek. It's the same..just a few villager kids "fishing" with homemade contraptions for shrimp and they'll sell them to us visitors to cook. I did see a fisherman with wooden boat take 4 people to the island you can see (I can never spell it so I'll call it CC Island) to go fishing. He cleaned the fish and they cooked it on the beach before returning to the mainland. What a life! We plan to be there Dec this year for a few weeks and plan to look your place up. You have the Iguana Bar and Rest. on the road out of Cebia, right? A friend in Cebia took me there for lunch during my last visit. I had the iguana...very tasty. Of course, I'm a country girl and use to eat squirrel my daddy brought home. Do you happen to know Dr. Rafael Pavon, the pediatrician? His wife died I believe last spring/summer...Melba. If you know him, and happen to see him, tell him Faye & Jose from North Carolina will see him in December. Also, do you know the young Mr. Felix Reyes Hyde, Attorney At Law, in Ceiba? He speaks English very well & has helped us with some items in the past. Is he still practicing in Cebia? Also, do you know Juan Carlos Ponce, Ingenieria Ponce Construction? I have his phone nos. but they're 3+ yrs. old. If you happen to have his e-mail I'd love to have it. I know I'm asking a lot but I'm getting my ducks in a row early for our trip and you seem to be in the know as far as La Cebia is concerned! Thanks in advance for any information.
