Short of actually traveling to Honduras, there are a lot of great
resources on the internet for learning more about Honduras.
Honduras Tips Magazine (http://www.honduras.com/hondurastips/) and
Travel-to-Honduras.com (http://www.travel-to-honduras.com/) are two
good starters.
My wife's step-father (not the same apellido as yours) has lived here
in the United States for seven years, nice new wife and kids. He too
has not been in touch with his familty in Honduras for several years,
which include his wife there and seven children.
