We've been trying to knock out this list while we're still here because we
want to bring a container of household & personal items with us, to be shipped
out of Houston, but the guy from the shipping company said that he has never
shipped to non-residence before and needed to check to see if we're going to
be taxed for everything in the container! YIKES!
So, if there is anyone out there who has moved to Honduras and shipped their
household stuff (nothing new, just clothes, a couch, beds etc) could you
please advise us as to what to expect? Did you have to have your residency
before shipping your things?
