We had our paperwork authenticated by the Honduran consulate in Miami. A medical exam was required for good health and a Aids test or free from other communicable dieses. This had to be on a doctors stationary, medical license certificate. Certified marriage license, crimial backround check. And proof of income greater than 1,000 dollars a monrh for a retired status. This than has to be approved by the secretary of state. Ours was Florida. It was not without cost and frustration. now it goes to The Honduran capital via a Honduras attorney. Different attorneys have different prices for this filling with the government.
