Carrie, The medical report just needs to be issued by a licensed physician, and should state the general health of the applicant (or note any problems), and also should mention that the patient does not suffer any comunicable diseases. You could also get a Certificado Médico here in Honduras from a Honduran doctor. This can be a benefit, since a US doctors report will need to be authenticated, and translated which can be quite expensive. The local Certificado Médico is sometimes more readily accepted. -- Melanie

When we called our doctors they wanted to know what tests etc. we were supposed to have them preform. There doesn't seem to be any form provided in the information that we've been able to access online so we're at an impass.
Can anyone who has jumped through the Honduran Hoops let us know what they are looking for? We are trying to move down next month and really want to get as far as we need to in order to have our belongings shipped without being taxed for everything in the container! Any advice for rapidly getting this done will be most welcomed!
Thanks, Carrie
