We just moved our dog to San Pedro Sula. It was an easy process. Honduras actually only needs a current (within 10 days) clean bill of health and there is no quarantine. However, we flew Continental and the airline required documentation from the Honduran Consulate and then when we went to the consulate in Houston they had us get the document notarized by someone they knew. So that was a hassle. Continental said that is was because that was stated in their computer so if we did not have this release they would not allow Rowdie to fly. So call the airline and they will know more information. Once in Honduras there is no problem and they didn't even look at the release that the airline had us get just the Vet release. Remember your dog must see the Vet and have a release for up to date shots and clean bill of health within 10 days of arriving in Honduras. Hope this helps.

Would appreciate any info or direction to appropriate websites concerning the process of relocating from US to Honduras with pets... I've heard 30 day quarantine. Anyone been through this? We will likely make the trip by land, so would need also any info about passing through Mexico, Gaut., etc.
Thanks so much! Jenn Oliver
