Hi,
I recently found a fantastic website for domestic and international flights (originating in the US). It is a consolodated airline site and it offers the cheapest flight tickets that I've been able to find. Go to http://www.cheapflights.com and select your destination and departure cities - it will give you a choice of a number of fares, which are not listed according to price, so scroll down.
Mike, if you fly from LAX, you could get fares for around $350 to San Pedro Sula, not sure about Tegucigalpa, but go in and have a look.
If you need accommodation on the Bay Islands, please have a look at http://www.tropicalrez.com, we offer discounts on hotels, vacation rentals, car rental and tours for the Bay Islands (Roatan, Utila, Guanaja).
Take care, Sandra > Also, try Travelocity's fare watcher.
