Hi,
I am planning to visit Honduras for two weeks over the holidays, but
can't seem to find very suitable airfares. I'm finding fares in the
neighborhood of $700 from California, which seems to be the going
rate, but the schedules are not at all desireable. I'm just about
ready to give in and use a travel agent, but just thought I'd solicit
advice from this group.
I live in San Diego, but am flexible in terms of leaving from Los
Angeles. I'd prefer a nonstop flight from, say, L.A. to Tegus, but
one stop would be fine too. The catch is that I want to leave and
arrive on the same day, and it seems that to make a lot of the
nonstop flights (e.g. HIA-TGU, ATL-TGU, MIA-TGU), I'd have to fly
from LAX the day before. I'm willing to take a red eye to minimize my
layover time, I just don't want to spend the entire night in an
airport.
