I don't know a whole lot but I was there on Roatan last week. It was hot, very humid but of course, beautiful. I was diving. The real downside is the sand flea problem. It may not be so bad on the mainland but on Roatan, some people, like me, get very itchy bites all over even tho insecticide was used liberally. If you are at all inclined, you must learn to dive while you are there because it is quite a spectacular place. I always stay at CoCo View Lodge and I recommend it.
