Baby "K" is now at the hospital in Tegus and awaiting a CT scan
scheduled for Thursday. When she arrived the hospital did not have a
shunt to give her the much needed surgery. We found a supplier and
purchased a shunt for 5000 lmps so she can have her surgery. During
the visit to this hospital 2 other babies needed a shunt but no one
had the funds to purchase one and they died without the surgery.
Sadly this is not an uncommon occurance. We are now looking for
anyone to help find a donator or pay for shunts for these children.
It breaks my heart watching babies and children die due to the lack
of supplies at the hospitals and clinics.
Please everyone say a prayer for Baby K and these other children.
