Just got back. Hotel Bolivar is safe and runs about $35 a night. The rooms are a bit tired. Kinda like an econolodge off the interstate in the deep south.
Carpet dirty, furniture missing knobs, shower doors busted.
Its OK for a night if you're in a pinch though.
Taxi to airport ran me 200 lprs or about $10. Seemed fair but probably not the locals price and didn't feel like bartering.
FYI - Hedman Alas is operating out of the consolidated bus terminal now. This may be a consideration if gettin up and bussing the next morning. -- Stefanie M wrote:
