I assume you realize that San Pedro Sula is one of the wealthiest and dynamic cities in all of Central America.? In SPS there are?thousands and thousands and thousands of luxury residences; malls and restaurants and movie theaters to rival anything in the US; and that virtually all of the foreign residents of the Bay Islands regularly go to San Pedro for shopping and medical.? However, arriving at any big city airport at midnight can be concerning.? There are several micro hotels close to the airport and they have transportation that can meet you.? I am sure some one will write in with the contact numbers of these hotels--or you can write me off line and I will look them up for you.

Hello, My flight from Spirit Air arrives late at night----> around 11:30 P.M. in San Pedro Sula and I am very AFRAID as I have read so many horrible things about crime in this city. Any suggestions on how I can get out of this city safely at this time or make it to a safe hotel at this time of night? I do not want something to happen to us. Thanks!
