Jeff is correct. Absent paying a hugh price to a taxi to take you to
La Ceiba (and you still won't get to Roatan until the next day) you
will be stuck in San Pedro Sula for the night on the late Spirit
arrival.
The cheapest way to get from San Pedro Sula to Roatan is bus to La
Ceiba and then ferry across to Roatan. The Hedman Alas luxury bus
(http://www.hedmanalas.com/index.htm) will cost you around $15 US
(there are cheaper bus lines that run direct, like Catisa-Tupsa, but
not as safe). The ferry between $22-$23 with perhaps $5-$10 in taxi
between.
Ferry departures to Roatan are at 9:30 AM and 4:30 PM. You'll need a
very early departure out of San Pedro Sula to make the early ferry.
