Scuba diving in Tela...good question? Would that be worth it? Maybe if you
take a tour that will take you to remote reefs however Tela is not really
known for diving or scuba diving attraction. I think the beach and sea are
nice in Tela but for scuba diving?
I am no expert on the subject but would highly recommend any of the islands
for scuba diving instead of Tela.
I am also copying to Daniel at Maya Vista Hotel in Tela, maybe he could
elaborate more on scuba diving in Tela.

Nicolas. I checked out the site you sent and the area looks very nice. It
appears a person could get a nice room for around 19 dollars. Is there any
good scuba diving near tela. I noticed there are twom points of land that
jet out. Would that be a good area for scuba? I am a avid diver and one of
the draws for me to visit would be the diving. However...I love the jungle

Hello! I will be visitng Tela in the middle of March for a few days.
Does anyone know of an inexpensive hotel/motel? I have looked online,
but cannot seem to find much; I might just be looking in the wrong
place. I looked through past postings here, but I didn't find
anything particular to Tela.
I am flying to Tegucigalpa to visit friends and they want to take me
to Tela for a few days. I told them I would research a place to
stay. They have been to Tela before, but it's been about seven years
for them. Aside from places you would recommend staying, I would
appreicate any other suggestions or advice.
