I know that in Isla Mujeres infront of Cancun a friend of mine and I decided that we didn't want to spend so much on renting a car but were too lazy to rent a bike or scotter so we ended up renting a golf car. Not as fast as a car, and even slower than the scooters but we had no hurry since we were looking at the scenery and we took turns driving it cause it was so fun to just step on the "gas" and put the other leg up, take our shirts off due to the heat..etc, and we still had space for our bags and purchases and an ocassional hitch hiker (none actually but the space was there). Obviously here in Tegus , golf car would not apply.
So, if there were golf cars to rent in Roatan it would be nice, well i guess, since I don't know if they would handle the hills.
