Well said Murray! I agree with you 100%! I rented one of your fine scooters last trip to see if a scooter was something I wanted to invest in since I spend a lot of time on the island. I rented for one day, got to go places I haven't been in any of my prior trips, and totally by myself. It was great! BUT! I decided that as an investment, a scooter is not for me. I'm just too darned short to ride it properly. Murray has very well maintained machines and I may have reason to rent one again sometime. It's really too bad when nay-sayers try to color the facts. Even with my limitations (ie. not being able to comfortably balance the bike while walking it backwards), I have a few skills left from 35 years ago that I used just fine to get around. Thankfully, I returned your machine 24 hours later no worse for wear and didn't have one of those minor single-vehicle OOPS you mentioned. Visitors just need to really think about THEIR skills and abilites. If you like to ride a scooter in traffic where you live, you'll probably be OK. If you like to bicycle in very hilly terrain and don't mind trafic, you'll probably really enjoy seeing Roatan that way. If you never do either at home or only ride in a gated community of cul-du-sacs...I have some great friends who are tour guides and taxi drivers on the island. Email me and I'll happily share their cell phone numbers. :~) Deborah
