    Hi Amy,

Roatan could be just what your group is looking for. There is a good
variety of hotels, some great restaurants and nightlife, very good
diving and a variety of day activities possible for non divers-
hiking, island tours, boat trips, horse back riding, shopping,
    canopy tours and so on.

Concerning the sand mites they can be a problem for some people, for
others it is not. It is just best to bring some good insect
repellent and to be prepared to use it when sitting on the beach.

For more information on Roatan check out:

    Hope this info helps.

    Best Regards
    Dean Milverton

singles. We have traveled to Ambergris Caye in Belize, to Manuel
Antonio in Costa Rica and to Grenada. As a group, we like to hit
locations that aren't the main tourist hot spots, but that do offer

for us? Also, I have heard that there are bad sand mites on the
beaches in Roatan. Have you experienced that?
