no,Spirit hasn't changed it unfortunately...my husband and I are going at
those horrible hours this weekend....our tickets came out to a little more
than yours and now I'm not sure they're worth it since we're going to Roatan
and have to pay hotel in San Pedro for a night,as well as transportation to
Fort Lauderdale Airport from Miami.I think I'll find another way next
time....

check the times for spirit, the rates are cheap but it leaves San Pedro at
11pm and gets in at 11:55pm in miami and it leaves miami at 1:00am and gets
in at 5:00am.
I hope that they have changed this.
We bought 2 tickets with them through the $9 fare club and the ticket was
$72.70 ($35.00 was taxes)!

If you can route through San Pedro Sula you will find the best prices.
I just bought tickets for my wife and daughter, round trip, for two (2)
tickets for $150 on Spirit out of Lauderdale. Sign up at their web site
for email alerts. American and TACA have been offering reduced fares
on fare sales out of Miami and, when you factor in that with the Spirit
arrival time you must hotel in San Pedro Sula overnight, they pretty
much equal out.
