As is the case in most US restaurants. I did my stint serving tables too and at ou restaurant, you tipped out a percentage of sales each shift to bus boys and bar-tenders. Of course, we also extra tipped our best bartenders and bus boys, just as you would like to give a better tip to your favorite server ;0)

So you need to understand if they are doing that and also how they divide up the tips---some enterprises allocated some to the owner and some to the waiter and some to the busboy and some to the cook.? So that is essential to understand that?prior to starting any employment here. > > I often go ahead and give something directly to the waiter/waitress- --but frequently you even have to do that with a secret handshake because the owners or other employees will want that to go into the overall tip jar.? Of course, I have no idea how Expats does it and just am relating experiences from other places in Honduras and this is nothing at all specific to Expats. > > Kent > > > -----Original Message----- > From: B S > To: travel-to-honduras.....com > Sent: Fri, 10 Aug 2007 8:10 am > Subject: Re: [travel-to-honduras] Working at Expats Bar and Restaurant > > > > > > > Thanks for your mail Kent.
