David I tried that, but because we were not shipping it directly there they were required to register it in Texas, at least that was their story..In Florida, many of the dealers will do that, and then deliver it to the port for you, but not in The Dalas market I have previously purchased vehicles in New York and registered them in Virgina, Bought them in Georgia nad Registered in Maryland, Texas and Florida, and it all worked that way, where I paid some form of tax in the state I registered it..Some are sales tax, some " Excise Tax" some Road Tax, whatever. I may just need to drive it here for a year so that it might be considered as a " Used Vehicle " When we try to get it into Honduras.Now it has been sitting in a garage.
