Rodney, Comayagua is a great place! If you are looking for a great place to stay I am sure you could work something out at the hotel Villa Real. It is right below the pizza place on main street near the Wendys about a block off of Main Street. It has about 8 or 9 rooms, is very secure at night, has a nice pool and a bar. It is close to everything in Comayagua. A room for a night there is about $25-30 depending on the room but I am sure you could work out a long term deal and pay much less. It has air and cable and hot water. Then u wouldn't have do deal with a lease, utilities etc.
The market is close and way cheap. There are fast food places nearby and a great local barbeque chicken place. There are banks very close and if you decide to exchange money they are very close. There was a great bar and restaurant on the main street where all the military guys from the base hungout. It has since closed because of the death of the owner. I am not sure where they go now but they can often be found at the Wendys.
Hope this helps.

Mrs. La Gringa,
Thank you for the response and also for pointing out the key points... It's nice to hear from you (La Gringa Blogicito), I recieve your post daily and your doing a great job!
Here are some of the things that I'm concern about:
* Small one room apartment (singles apartment) near the main boulevard * Extented stay hotel is o.k. * Cost of utilities ... lights, water, and cable * Best place to eat and buy food. * Exchanging money and using a visa debit card for cash at the local bank.
I would like to stay there for 9 mos out the year and return back to the USA periodically to handle personal affairs. Alot of things I can buy once I'm there, I just need to know where to go in shop.. things has changed alot since my last visit. I had friends there some years back, but I don't know where their located at this time.
Thanks you Friends, Rodney
