days from now" Honduras time perhaps the information will yet be
timely.
The current ferry schedule is a follows:
ROATAN - from Dixon Cove (L. 400 or L. 500 for first class - 1.5
hours)
Roatan/La Ceiba 7:00 A.M.
La Ceiba/Roatan 9:30 A.M.
Roatan/La Ceiba 2:00 P.M.
La Ceiba/Roatan 4:30 P.M.
UTILA - from municipal dock (L. 300, 1 hour)
Utila/La Ceiba 6:20 A.M.
La Ceiba/Utila 9:30 A.M.
Utila/La Ceiba 2:00 P.M.
La Ceiba/Utila 4:30 P.M.
All ferry departures and arrivals at La Ceiba are at the muelle at
Cabotaje.
For local flights I have found Isleņa Airlines, the TACA subsidiary,
to be the most reliable. They are also the only airline that permits
advance booking over the internet. You will find them on line at
http://www.flyislena.com/ Do have a printer attached to your
computer as you will be required to print your own ticket. The one-
way cost La Ceiba to Roatan is $47.04 US, tax included, per person.
