There is only one ferry service between Roatan and La Ceiba – the Galaxy II.
According to the schedule I have, it leaves Ceiba at 10am and 4pm and leaves
Roatan at 7am and 1pm. It is a new fast ferry and takes about an hour. I
have not been on it, but I have heard varied reports about how rocky the
ride is. You probably should verify the schedule once you are here.
Roundtrip air is about $65. Sometimes they are full and sometimes not. If
you decide to go by air, it is best to make a reservation in advance. The
airlines usually have about the same price. Isleña, SOSA and Atlantic all
fly there.
