Good evening everyone,
I just wanted to provide you a quick update on the Conference on Honduras 2007. It is right about this time that we start to received registrations for our annual conference... And sure enough, we've now started. During the past week, we received registrations from Dr. Donald Hopkins and Dr. Barbara Hopkins of St. Francis Episcopal Church ( http://www.stfrancistemple.org ) in Temple, Texas. We also received registrations from Paul and Janice Davis of Mustard Seed Missions, Inc. ( http://www.mustardseedmissions.net ) of West Hatfield, Massachusetts.
These individuals are now confirmed to attend the conference.
We now have a total of 11 people confirmed. If you would like to track confirmations during the next six months, please refer to http://www.projecthonduras.com/conference/confirmed.htm
If you'd like to see a list of last year's confirmed attendees, see http://www.projecthonduras.com/conference/conference2006/confirmed.htm ... note that that list does not include about 30 people who registered at the last minute.
I encourage everyone who is planning to attend the Conference on Honduras 2007, to register as soon as possible, and certainly before September so you can avoid the late fee. The price of registration is $100 per person right now. In September, the fee goes up to $125 per person.
If you would like to sponsor someone from Honduras to attend the event, you are most welcome to do so. You can register them online... Just provide their name and organization.
Online registration can be done at http://specialmissions.org/conferencia.htm
Otherwise, take a look at http://www.projecthonduras.com/conference for other registration options.
Let me know if you would be interested in giving a presentation about your work in/for Honduras. Each speaker wil be allocated 15 minutes. Further info about this is available at http://www.projecthonduras.com/conference/speaker_guidelines.htm
If you have any specific questions, feel free to e-mail me at hondopost.....com
This will be our 8th consecutive Conference on Honduras.
