Well said...the rooms at the Jungle River lodge are without air or fans etc and are tiny, they are very inexpensive around $10..They are probably a bargain for the hiker, backpacker etc who is touring CA by bus etc and after a great way to see the world cheap. The rooms for us were so hot that many of our party stayed up all night playing cards up at the dinner area...For anyone after comfort they are not the place to stay...For anyone wanting a room for very cheap that is right on the river they are great...As I said before the river was great, the staff great, we enjoyed the food and drinks and the zipline was the bomb...the rooms are what you would expect for $10...Hope this helps..:) -----Original Message----- From: travel-to-honduras.....com [mailto:travel-to-honduras.....com] On Behalf Of bronder.....com Sent: Friday, April 13, 2007 9:51 AM To: travel-to-honduras.....com Subject: Re: [travel-to-honduras] Rio Cangrejal Rafting
Have you ever seen hotel reviews in USA cities? except for the 5 star hotels
(and even those sometimes) most hotels get mixed reviews, some people say it
was a great stay, some complain about a non-working thing, or the price, or a bad experience. etc. You have to average out reviews to get the idea if the bad things are exceptions or the rule of the place. Having spend a little time behind a hotel front desk (doing computer work) I know that even
the same day 2 people can have different experiences on the same hotel. And a picky customer is harder to satisfy than someone that just wants a nice place to stay the night. Oh and don't get me started with the VIP's , those blow everything out of proportion.
