I am planning on bringing a vehicle to central America for an extended
vacation and/or retirement. I will be traveling the east coast from
Progresso Mexico [point of entry] to Honduras and possibly further
south. It seems to me that the possibility of lack of unleaded fuel in
some locations and the difference in electronics due to US emmision
standards would make a diesel vehicle the better choice and perhaps
the easiest to get repaired. In just your observations what brand of
vehicle is the most popular in Honduras.
