Sand fleas will not bother you in Tela except for the shady areas under the palm trees. It is raining right now for the first time in weeks, so there will be a few mosquitos out over the next week. Any decent repellant works just fine for both mosquitos and sand fleas. If you are going to be out in the sun, get a combination sunscreen/repellant and you will be just fine.
