Yes, Canadian dollars are OK in Honduras.. I would NOT change to dollars(where you lose some money) and then to Limpiras.. But as someone else stated.. using a credit card at an ATM(preferably at a Mall or someplace openly visible).. BUT... those ATMs, of course, charge a small amount... surprisinly small amount for the change and those ATMs accept your credit card IF.. your card has PLUS... CIRRUKS.... INTERLLINK and anothre one but forgot the name.. I can use myu MASTERCARD there because the ATMs there will accept CIRRUS and on tdhe backk of my credit card, it has CIRRUS.... I have another credit card that does not have CIRRUS but has Interlink and also PLUS .. I am NOT SURE(that is, I do not remember) which ones that the ATMs there accept.. I DO KNOW that CIRRUS is one.......Norm
