thanks, both of you. i speak enough spanish to get by teaching in Mexico. I work with Spanish teachers. I am maybe intemediate. I can understand simple conversation and the gist of most dialogue. i am not certified by the US public school system but i have ESL field certification (CELTA) and four years of 1-12 teaching. my wife can work as a diving instructor so it might be a decent fit where we can save a little with a simple life. any other info would eb great. -neill
