Keep in mind that in the U.S., most of the doctors are now Indian or Arab.. very few American doctors.. Maybe they went to Honduras.. Norm

You better be ready to shell out the bucks up front to get medical attention and even then the doctors aer not comparable to US.
Its not a place to be if your not healthy.

Hi again I am always full of questions . I have another one that
perhaps someone can help me with. Does anyone have any information or
have any personal experience with the Hospital at La Ceiba? I have a
history of heart trouble and need I need to know if they have a
Cardiologist and a cath lab. I would also like to know if the have a
surgery unit and a Neurologist. I know ther is a big hospital in SPS
but that is a long drive if I were to develop chest pains. I would
appreciate any comments on this suject especially from anyone that has
first hand knowledge. Thanks again for everyones help. I hope to get to
meet some of you the end of the month when we come for a visit...
