Make sure that they have an office at La Ceiba so you can return the car there.

My husband Rick and I have booked our tickets and reading everything we can get our hands on preparing for our first trip to Honduras in March. We are flying into San Pedro and plan to rent a car (one way)and drive to Le Ceiba..look at real estate and puddle around and then go on to Roatan. We have spent a lot of time in Belize and loved it, but found the islands a bit to "over done"
Our hope is that we will find that this is the place that we could retire to..suggestions please
We are looking for suggestions for a hotel in San Pedro and on Roatan. Has anyone rented a car one way before..anything to watch out for?? Our spanish is very very weak..we will be taking classes seriously if we fall in love with this country.
