You cannot LEGALLY bring any guns from the USA. You can try and hide them in your
container but it is not recommended. The authorities will most likely find any long gun
that you try and bring. As for easily hidden pistols I still don't think it is worth trying to
bring them in, as it is a pretty serious offense. If you were to safely smuggle it in you
would still have to register it if you ever wanted to take it off your property and after the
grace period ended last year it is exceedingly difficult to register guns that do not have an
Honduran provenance. You cannot bring ammo, either. All has to be bought at the
armory. Accessories are a different story. Clips, extra cylinders are okay. Just nothing
that is the frame or action of a gun.

My advice: leave your guns at home and buy a pistol here. You really do not want the
    hassle.

Caveat: Like all things Honduran, this may have changed in the last year since I checked
    into it.
