Hello all,
I got information from a friend of mine that a company called WebZero has reached an agreement with Hondutel (Honduran Telephone company) to provide FREE dial-up internet access. The only cost is the call which for a local call is Lps 0.35 / Min.
Don't take my word for it since I have wireless internet at the office and cellular internet acess everywhere else for $10/month. I called their Tegucigalpa offices and did the configuration in my computer but haven't tested it. I did call their local access number and a modem does answer.
They have local access numbers in:
Tegucigalpa
SPS
Ceiba
Tela
Choloma
Pto. Cortes
Omoa
Villanueva
Progreso
Valle de Angeles
Zamorano
Comayagua
Siguatepeque
Offices only located in Tegucigalpa , their number is 284-0000. I think they speak spanish only.
Hope this helps some of you or that at least you can pass this on to others who can use it.
