How long is it since you last used the ferry? I was discussing the options with some friends the other day and it seems that there's lots of complaints (have been on this group recently too) about the air services and the schedules(?) they keep. The ferry these days, since they upgraded to the new Cat takes a little over an hour on a calm day and they have left on time every time I've used it, which is probably 6 or 7 round trips in the last 2 moonths. If the seas are rough and you are prone to sea-sickness then either take dramamine before you go or take the flight. I am lucky there in that it doesn't seem to bother me. The cost is also about double to fly.
