Hi Angel!
Actually I don't think there is a malaria vaccine, just medication. I already talked with my doctor and she is going to call in a prescription for me.
So it turns out I will be going for 20 days instead. I am saying to my fiance that I am leaving the 24th of January but that morning I will sleep in a freak him out lol (a nice idea that was suggested by my friend!) and then I will whip out my ticket and say "Una sorpresa! I am staying until the 29th!" I think he will really get a kick out of that and I know he will be thrilled! :o)
I never knew that about mosquitoes though, that they have killed more people than any other living creature. That is quite interesting. Now I know that that malaria medication is DEFINITELY a necessity!
Seeing that I will be staying there for 20 days, I am sure that I will have time to visit the Bay Islands.
I hope you get to fit the islas into your plans sometime Angel! :o)
Talk to you again soon!
Megan
