- My wife is in Honduras and we often talk through the computer. It is either free or very cheap. Sometimes we cam too. Most towns have internet cafes and calls vary in price but it is so much cheaper than using my phone. I have done the same with friends in other countries as well.

It is 20 bux US a month and that is unlimited calling anywhere in the US or Canada, and discounted rates everywhere else. They also give you voice mail, caller ID etc. for the same price. Pick any area code in either US or Canada that you want your phone number to be. We use 408 area code since my husband's office is in that area code so when he is there it is a local call for him to home, and anyone else calling us are billed to the call to California, not Honduras. Completly leagal. For some reason here on Roatan the Packet8 system seems to work better than Vonage. > Linda > ----- Original Message ----- > From: keylimey69 > To: travel-to-honduras.....com > Sent: Tuesday, December 12, 2006 1:55 PM > Subject: [travel-to-honduras] Re: Calling rates to Honduras > > > If this is a computer based service then again I have heard of > several options.
