Hi All,
I heard of people being stopped at gun-point as they were only attempting to walk along the beach in front of a big resort in Roatan. I don't think, but please correct me if I am wrong, that it is legal to privatize beaches in Honduras? Yet the big Hotels do pretty much what they want. I am not surprized that the honduran authorities would not protect their citizen's right of access. Does anybody have information on the actual laws protecting beaches from being privatized?
