Every Honduran will tell you that all beaches are open to the public. As far as I know that is correct.
As our restaurant, the Iguana Restaurant & Bar, is open to the public we don't have any problem with public use of the beach. Beach furniture however is not public but restaurant patrons are welcome to use it.
