Why not just buy a Vonage phone (and area code) in the US and have someone send it to you in Honduras. The cost is $30 per month, tax included. You can then dial direct to the US and receive calls from the US just as if you and your Vonage phone were in the US. This is what I do. The only limitation is that you have to have access to a computer when using you Vonage phone. However, I have one Vonage phone in my house in Honduras and another one in my office in Honduras. So for $60 per month I can talk back and forth to the US 24/7. One last comment. Recently someone was in my office and had an HP cell phone. He showed me on the back of it where he switched it to ^unlocked^ and claimed that he makes unlimited cell calls to the US and from the US back to Honduras when he travels to Miami, all at no charge. I asked him repeatedly whether he had to pay a wifi access fee and he said he did not. He claimed that with the his HP phone he can always pick up a signal as long as he has it unlocked. I still have trouble believing his claim. What do you think? Roger
