Hi Andrea,
Yes, the weather must have been your fault! No, seriously, we got
here just one month ago (today, actually) and there have only been a
few decent days in that time.....then again, I knew I was moving here
in the beginning of rainy season so I'm not upset about it. I do feel
bad for people that are here and expected to dive but only have two
weeks and the vis *is* crappy at the moment. I dove a couple of weeks
ago and thought it was absolutely fantastic. All my diving has been
in Florida so to run down a canyon to 120' and hover over a dropoff
to 2000' was awesome to me. I'm very much looking forward to shipping
all our 'stuff' down next year so I'll have my own gear and tanks, Im
much more comfy in it! ;0)
I came here from South Florida, living in the West End/ Sandy Bay
area. I'm not working at the moment but have set up a Honduran
Company and am a Contractor, so have some work lined up for next year
*after* my residency is completed. Are you planning a permanent move
here yourself, or just hoping for better diving weather next time?
