Hi there those of you who call Honduras frequently:
After getting a 228$ phone bill last month, I decided to try yahoo voice
(you call on your yahoo messenger account with money youīve added). I have
used it quite a bit already. You add money in 10$ or 25$ increments, and the
calls cost 25cents a minute to Honduras, I think maybe a few cents more to a
cellphone. (or if from Honduras to USA, only 2cents a minute!). All you have
to do is have a yahoo messenger account, sign up to make some calls with
yahoo (by paying by credit card) and have a microphone/headset. Technically
you COULD do it from any internet connection so long as the proprietors
allow it... and if you are calling someone who is also online, the call is
free (computer to computer).
I have looked at rates with many other online telephone services, and this
is honestly the cheapest I have found (and requires NO long term commitment
or extra equipment besides a standard microphone/earbud)...
I dont know if anyone else knows of cheaper than 25cents (calling cards have
ripped me off TOO much--- calls that donīt get through, cards that say you
have decent amount of time as advertised but the card cuts you off too soon,
etc etc... )
